Welcome to MiniVideo! Your privacy is incredibly important to us. We designed MiniVideo with a privacy-first approach—your media stays yours. This policy explains what permissions we request, how they are used, and how your data is protected.

1 Core Philosophy

We do not want your personal data. All core functionalities of MiniVideo operate entirely locally on your devices.

  • No videos are ever uploaded to our servers.
  • No accounts, emails, or logins are required to use the App.

2 Photo Library Access

We request access to your Photo Library solely so you can select videos to transfer to your Apple Watch.

  • Videos are read locally and sent directly to your wrist.
  • We do not scan, collect, or transmit your photos or videos over the public internet.

3 Local Network Access

The Wi-Fi transfer feature requires Local Network access to receive files from your Mac or PC.

  • This creates a temporary, local web server on your iPhone.
  • Files are transferred securely over your private router—not the cloud.

4 Video Processing

To make videos compatible with your Apple Watch, the App compresses and resizes them automatically.

  • All encoding happens securely on your iPhone's internal processor.
  • No cloud processing or remote APIs are ever used.

5 Watch Connectivity

We use Apple's native WatchConnectivity framework to beam files between your devices.

  • Data flows directly from your iPhone to your Watch via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.
  • This channel is secured, encrypted, and managed entirely by Apple.

6 In-App Purchases

MiniVideo offers a Pro upgrade processed entirely by Apple's App Store.

  • We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information.
  • We only receive an anonymous digital receipt to unlock your premium features.

7 Analytics & Tracking

We do not use invasive third-party tracking SDKs (like Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics).

  • We only have access to anonymized crash reports and basic download metrics provided directly by Apple (if you opted in via iOS settings).

8 Data Retention

Because we do not collect your data, we do not store it.

  • Transferred videos reside solely on your iPhone and Apple Watch physical storage.
  • You can permanently delete them at any time directly from within the App.

9 Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

  • If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate.

10 Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or iOS changes.

  • Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
  • Continued use of the App implies your consent to the updated policy.
